The WCMA February Meeting will be on Thursday February 2nd and is a tour of Mingo Creek Distilling in Washington followed by dinner at the Union Grill.
Relax and enjoy a whiskey cocktail as you walk through Mingo Creek’s warmly restored turn-of-the-century monument factory. You will learn about the history of the whiskey rebellion in Washington along with the in’s and out’s of the production area with Mingo Creek’s 300-gallon, American-made pot still, water treatment area, grain storage and grinding, barrel racks and aging process, and material handling process which utilizes our 100-year-old overhead crane and a cement hopper. The tour will finish in the Tinker Dining Room with a flight of our whiskeys to try.
Attendance for this tour is limited, so please be sure register ASAP.
The cost for the dinner is $25.00 per person and may be paid in advance with a check to the Association, Box BE, Washington, PA 15301, or you may pay at the desk the evening of the meeting.
