WCMA March Meeting

The next monthly meeting of the WCMA will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Please note date change to the second Thursday in March. We will be meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe at 5:30 pm for our social/networking hour followed by dinner at 6:30pm. Guest speaker for the evening will be Susan Nitzberg, Associate Director, Outreach Standing Firm: The Business Case to End Partner Violence.
STANDING FIRM: The Business Case to End Partner Violence is an organization whose mission is to alert regional employers to the financial, personnel and safety costs of partner violence on the workplace and to equip them withtools to take effective organizational action. By focusing on engaging employers in taking workplace action against partner violence, STANDING FIRM broadens the social network of support for victims and encouragement for batterers to reconsider the consequences of their behavior, in the context of improving the well-being of the workforce and safety of the workplace. The cost for the dinner is $25.00 per person and may be paid in advance with a check to the Association, Box BE, Washington, PA 15301, or you may pay at the desk the evening of the meeting. Please note, because we guarantee the number of meals, if you make reservations, but cannot attend, your company will be charged for the dinner if you do not cancel in advance.
