What's New

January Meeting

The next monthly meeting of the WCMA will be held on Thursday January 10, 2019. We will be meeting at the Double Tree by Hilton located at 340 Racetrack Road, Washington, PA

Technology is increasingly transforming industries by enabling new customer experiences, product values and business models that can reshape competitive success factors.  Changes can occur rapidly, creating new opportunities, presenting challenges to accepted practices and sometimes putting the businesses of the unprepared at risk.

Our talk on January 10, 2019 is intended to be a primer on Digital Transformation in the manufacturing sector.  We hope listeners will leave the meeting with a baseline understanding of:

  • What digitization is and what it can mean for the growth of a business
  • The current stae-of-play in the manufacturing sector
  • How to begin taking it forward in your company
  • Organizational considerations to be aware of, and
  • Potential payoffs associated with going down this path
